100 Happy Days- Day 17

I know that so far, most of the posts from the 100 Happy Days challenge have been of my kids, or somehow related to them. I must sound like one of those really annoying bragging moms, I know. But I can't help it. They make me so happy.
The thing the made me happy from these pictures, is how much they love each other. They are so sweet to each other- not all the time, of course. They are kids, they fight- AT LOT. But the few moments they get in between fights, they remember how much they love each other. And those little in between moments are the sweetest moments of my day.

100 Happy Days- Day 16

This may be one of the last things you expect to see on the 100 Happy Days challenge, but getting something clean, especially when it was that dirty to start with, makes me ever so happy. I get this great feeling of accomplishment, when I clean or organize something. I have recently been on a "Spring Cleaning" kick- I reorganized my closet, pantry, under the kitchen sink and a few drawers around the house. I also cycled cleaned all my appliances and all the doors and door frames on the first floor. I feel so clean and accomplished- I feel happy!
Anyone else excited about cleaning? Or am I just weird? ;)

100 Happy Days- Day 15

As I continue that 100 Happy Days Challenge, I am ever so amazed of how little the things that truly make me happy usually are. A mug full of Jelly Beans and a very content Hubby makes my day.
What little things make you happy?

100 Happy Days- Day 14

The simplest crafts seem to be the most fun ones. Plus, hearing the roar of little monsters around the house, always makes me happy. Check out more about the 100 Happy Day Challenge.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, everyone! Here are a few snapshots from the week.

Earlier this week we got to visit the nursing home and give eggs to toe residents. We had a big egg hunt on Saturday. Today we had a great time in church and when we came home the kids got to hunt for some more eggs and to open their baskets.

How was your Easter?

100 Happy Days- Day 13

Here is day 12 of the 100 Happy Days challenge.

The changing weather has been so good. We had such a long winter that now we are getting outside any chance we get.
Anyone one else doing the challenge? How is it going for you?

100 Happy Days- Day 12

Day 12 of the 100Happy Days Challenge is probably the simplest day so far. It's funny how littlest of things can make you happy.

I stocked my fridge with my favorite drinks and my favorite yogurt, and that made me feel so good and so happy. I know it sounds silly, but knowing I have days of eating and drinking things that taste good and are good for me, makes me super happy.
Any foods that make you happy?

100 Happy Days- Day 11

I'm still catching up on posting the picture from my 100 Happy Days challenge.

We found Waldo! That should say it all, but if you don't know why that would make my day, check out my Instagram and all the "Where is Waldo" funny spins I'm always posting. I love the little striped guy!

100 Happy Days- Day 10

While doing the 100 happy Days challenge, I realize that my kids are usually the thing that makes me the happiest. and even though there is nothing wrong with that, I wanted to make sure that I took the time to look for other things that also make me happy.
So far in this challenge, I have learned that happiness is a matter of focus. If you spend your days focusing on the bad and the negative, you will be sad and bitter. The moment you decide to look for the things that make you happy, and you focus on the good in life, that bad doesn't seem so bad and you are instantly happier.

My parents went to Brazil a few weeks ago to do my cousins wedding and came back with all kinds of goodies. These goodies are really special to me- they taste like my childhood. This is my comfort food. When I eat it, I can close my eyes and I feel like I'm & years old again, ad back in Brazil. My life is here now and I wouldn't trade it for anything, but it feels really good to "time travel" in a single bite.

Also, my sister Dhanny*, sent me this AWESOME Natura hand lotion. Now, anyone that knows me, knows that I can't stand things with smells. I have a very sensitive nose (I call it the "Super Sniffer"), and I can smell things from really far away, so I don't use perfumes, of strong smelling lotions. Everything smells so strong to me, that it all smells bad. This lotion is different, the smell is so faint and naturals, I actually like it. Also, it makes my hands feel amazing, as well as straighting my nails.

The food/lotion combination has made me one happy gal!

*I feel like I should explain that she is not really my sister, but she has been in my life for so long and knows me so well, I can't think of another way to describe her. Our families are so close, that is hard to remember that there is no blood relation. Anyone else with people like that in their lives?

100 Happy Days- Day 9

Here is another catching up post on the 100 Happy Days Challenge.

Is hard to know how much are the kids learning, or how well home school is going because there are no standardised testing for preschool and kindergarten. So when we do things a little differently and I realize that the kids have learned more than what I realized, I get very happy. The kids used foam letter and some magnet letter to form words they knew, and wrote them in cursive afterwords. It was great to see just how much they already know.
Any one else doing the challenge? How is it going with you? Feeling happier yet?

100 Happy Days- Day 8

Hi guys, I know I have been terrible at keeping up with the 100 Happy Days posts. I have however been great at sniping my happy moments. I am not too worry about the posting part of the challenge, because I am truly doing this for myself and no one else. Also, I blog for fun, with no obligation, so I sometimes don't get to it as often as I would like too.

I love how these three have the same sense of humor. I left them at the office and when I came back, all three of them where sitting on same chair, pretending to be asleep. And when they "woke up" they got a tickle attack from the Hubby.
I just love these three so much, nothing makes me happier than seeing them smile.

100 Happy Days- Day 7

So far, Day 7 of the 100 Happy Days, was the happiest day so far, thanks to the great weather. It felt so good to have some sunshine and no snow anywhere in the ground. It was really windy, but Peanut's hair looked extra cute flying all over the place. A sunny day was an all-day happy-day.

I love that is finally feeling like Spring. I'm feeling so inspired by the sunshine. Anyone else feeling inspired? Hope your days are being happy too.

100 Happy Days- Day 6

I was so happy to give my kids a good day today. Truett got to ice skate for a really long time today (soory about the phobe pictures, I didn't have my camera with me). After his regular skating class, his god sister came for a sleep over and they got to skate together. Meanwhile Charisma, who is terrified of getting on the ice, had a daddy daughter date getting frozen yogurt. It was a long, but fun day.

Join the 100 Happy Days Challenge too- You'll be happy you did! (see what I did there?)
