Our family has an yearly passes to our local zoo, that are sadly underused. We decided to put those passes to use. The weather was not too hot anymore and not too cold yet, it was just perfect.
The kids got to enjoy the bug shaped playground, the carousel and the statues they could climb on, while I enjoyed the beautiful ethnic art along the walk.
The best part is that we only visited one of the six parts of the zoo, so there will be more to explore next time.
