Felt Love

I have recently fallen in love with felt. It is so, so cheap, and there is so much you can do with it. The possibilities are endless.
If you have never done anything with it before, you can start with a cute bow. It is so super ease to do, and you can attach it to pretty much anything.

All you will need is

-Felt

-Scissors

-Hot glue gun or fabric glue

Cut out a semi oval shape and a strip for the middle.

Next I pinch the middle to form the bow. I do use some glue between the little pinches to keep it together. That keeps it more resistant and perfect to use on your purse or shirt.

Wrap the different color strip around the bow, cluing as you go.

And lastly add the clip of your choice. I suggest cluing the strip over the attached part of the clip for extra security and to minimize the mess. Since excess glue always gets through, the strip will cover it and prevent it from making the clip stick to itself, or glue shut. And if you are using a rubber band, it is the only way to really hold it in place.

So there you have it! a fun easy felt bow in minutes. I've also done some more elaborate clips that I'll post throughout the week. So keep a look out for it.
